At AA Shield, we stand behind the quality and durability of our products. Each item is carefully crafted to meet the highest industry standards. Below you will find the warranty terms for our key product categories.
1. Ballistic Resistant Vest (BRV)
- Warranty Period: 5 years from the date of purchase.
- Coverage: This warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship under normal use and care. It does not cover wear and tear, misuse, or damage from exposure to chemicals or improper storage.
2. Plate Carrier
- Warranty Period: 3 months from the date of purchase.
- Coverage: The warranty covers manufacturing defects in the fabric, stitching, and fastening systems. This does not include damage caused by overloading, improper use, or wear from excessive field use.
3. Hard Armor Plates
- Warranty Period: 5 years from the date of purchase.
- Coverage: Warranty applies to any defects in ballistic performance, material quality, or workmanship. Does not cover damage from misuse, intentional harm, or severe impacts beyond the product’s rated specifications.
4. Soft Armor Panels
- Warranty Period: 5 years from the date of purchase.
- Coverage: This warranty covers defects in ballistic performance and manufacturing. It does not include damage caused by prolonged exposure to moisture, UV light, or improper storage.
5. Shoes
- Warranty Period: 1 year from the date of purchase.
- Coverage: Covers defects in materials (such as leather or synthetic fabrics), stitching, and sole bonding. Excludes normal wear and tear, improper care, or exposure to harsh conditions.
6. Ballistic Shields
- Warranty Period: 5 years from the date of purchase.
- Coverage: Warranty applies to defects in materials and workmanship, including ballistic performance. It does not cover damage from misuse, impacts beyond the rated specifications, or improper storage.
7. Ballistic Helmets
- Warranty Period: 5 years from the date of purchase.
- Coverage: Covers defects in material, workmanship, and ballistic protection. Excludes damage from improper use, storage, or environmental factors such as exposure to extreme heat or chemicals.
Warranty Claims
To file a warranty claim, please contact our customer service team with your proof of purchase, product details, and a description of the defect. We will assess the issue and, if the claim is approved, provide repair, replacement, or refund depending on the nature of the defect and product availability.
